Sales Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Lighting Division in Dubai, where you'll bridge the gap between our innovative lighting solutions and our clients' needs. You'll leverage your technical knowledge and sales expertise to drive revenue growth while building lasting relationships with key accounts across the UAE market. This is a hands-on role where your ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into lighting solutions will directly impact our business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the lighting sector, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract closure
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients, translating complex lighting technologies into business value and ROI
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their evolving needs and positioning appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with the technical and delivery teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are executed successfully
• Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, negotiating terms while maintaining healthy profit margins
• Track market dynamics and competitive landscape, providing feedback to inform product strategy and pricing decisions

Requirements

• 3-4 years of proven sales experience in the UAE, with demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, technologies, and products (LED, smart lighting, controls, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills with ability to manage complex B2B sales cycles
• Valid UAE driver's license with willingness to travel across the emirate for client meetings
• Fluency in English (written and verbal); Arabic language skills are a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Nice to have: experience with lighting design software or CAD tools
