About the Role

We're seeking a Procurement Officer to manage procurement operations for our construction projects, with a focus on international clients including US ARMY and UN organizations. You'll handle vendor relationships, contract management, and procurement documentation across construction materials, electrical, and mechanical components. This is a hands-on role where you'll directly impact project timelines and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, evaluate, and process RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and ITBs from international clients, ensuring compliance with US and European procurement standards
  • Manage assigned purchase orders and contracts from initiation through completion, including benchmarking supplier performance and negotiating terms
  • Draft and review procurement contracts to ensure alignment with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory compliance
  • Liaise with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, and statutory authorities to coordinate procurement activities and resolve issues
  • Maintain relationships with international clients (US ARMY, UN, and similar organizations), communicating effectively across different English accents and regional business practices
  • Track and report on procurement metrics including cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of procurement experience in construction, building materials, electrical, or mechanical sectors
  • Proven experience managing international clients, particularly US ARMY, UN, or similar government/international organizations
  • Ability to understand and communicate clearly in US and European English accents and business contexts
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes: RFI, RFQ, RFP, and ITB management
  • Proficiency in contract drafting, review, and management with attention to legal and compliance details
  • Nice to have: Experience with European market operations and procurement regulations
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with construction-specific procurement software and ERP systems
