Civil Engineer

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and lead MEP and fitout projects across the UAE. You'll work on complex commercial and residential developments, coordinating structural design with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while managing site execution and client relationships. This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise directly impacts project delivery and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate civil structural systems for MEP and fitout projects, ensuring integration with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation using AutoCAD and BIM tools
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with UAE building codes, Emirates Standards, and project specifications
• Collaborate with MEP consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve design conflicts and optimize construction sequences
• Manage project timelines and budgets, tracking progress against schedules and identifying risks early
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and design justifications for local authorities and project stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
• 5+ years of professional experience in MEP and fitout projects, specifically in the UAE market
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, BIM software (Revit preferred), and MS Office suite
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, Emirates Standards (ES), and Dubai Municipality requirements
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Nice to have: Experience with structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000) or cost estimation tools
• Nice to have: Valid UAE driving license and willingness to work on active construction sites
